The Storybook School

The TSS After Hours Program (TSS AH) is an afterschool program open to all students enrolled in TK-5th grade. The program offers consistent language models for Cantonese and Mandarin learners with positive relationships, hands-on activities, snack time, and community explorations.

The program is open to any student. It was started because the owners at TSS saw a need to support alumni students with Chinese homework at immersion programs. We also found that some of our alumni at non-immersive language programs wished to continue their Chinese, and hope it will be a nice way to keep the children engaged with their Chinese.

YouthSF

YouthSF afterschool programs provide standard-aligned science and technology experiences to students at no cost to their families. This student-centered program engages students in a multitude of active, hands-on projects. Students are encouraged and supported to follow and explore their own interests. The program is well-organized and well-researched. Students find it extremely fun and are always eager to share what they learned.

Free, voluntary donations accepted. For Grades 1 thru 5. Pick up at West Portal Elementary to their facility at 438 Taraval Street
