SF Shared Schoolyards at West Portal Elementary

To celebrate West Portal Elementary's participation in the San Francisco Shared Schoolyard Project, Supervisor Mark Farrell's office is hosting a Kick-Off Celebration on February 27th from 11am-1pm. West Portal's own District 7 Supervisor Norman Yee will also be attending. Free lunch and fun activities will be available for the entire family. To help the coordinators plan, please RSVP here, and pass this invite along to your friends, family, and neighbors in the West Portal community.

The San Francisco Shared Schoolyard Project is a partnership between the City of San Francisco, the San Francisco Unified School District, and San Francisco’s neighborhoods and communities that envisions and provides for a place for children and families to play and gather within walking distance of every child in San Francisco. Our yards will be open on the weekends for our school and neighborhood families to bike, scoot, and play ball. Please join us on the 27th to learn more about this program and to welcome the community to our school yards.
